Growing up in a family that enjoyed music, we often had karaoke nights during special occasions. These moments brought joy and became some of my fondest memories. As I grew older, my passion for playing the piano became a way to connect with my friends. I started playing for them, using music to encourage and motivate. They would often request their favorite songs, and we would gather around the piano, singing and making music during lunch breaks and free time. These informal jam sessions became a cherished part of our routine, filled with laughter and camaraderie. Whether it was a pop song to lift someone's spirits or a classical piece to calm our minds before exams, music was our go-to source of comfort and fun. Inspired by these experiences, I decided to become a piano teacher. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from National Taiwan University and my Master's degree in Music Education from Penn State University. Now, I share my passion with my students, helping them to cultivate their love for piano and nurturing their musical talents. Through personalized lessons, I aim to ignite their artistic potential and inspire a lifelong love of music. In addition to teaching, I also enjoy playing and collaborating with various instrumentalist. These experiences continue to fuel my love for music and provide valuable insights that I bring back to my students.
